If you’re like most of us you pack on a few LBS over the holiday.  

 All those holiday goodies, all those parties, blustery cold that makes you want to hang by the fireplace — all of it add us to weight gain. 

According to The National Institutes of Health most people do gain weight during the season.  The good news is it’s not that much…about a pound on average.  The bad news is that most of us don’t take it off so we ring in the New Year heavier than the year before….year after year.  

The good news is that there is a lot that you can do to stay in control and not put on extra weight.  Check out these tried and true tips to help you sail through the season while staying slim.

    Thanks for the timely and informative article and the video. Yes, many of us tend to overeat at the year end parties and consume lot of calories in the beverages too. Just by being conscious to replace the beverages with fruit juice or mineral water & to eat just small portions - can help a lot in losing weight instead of gaining it.
